If you are comparing us to other manufactures and websites, please note that most loft and bunk beds available from the major online retailers are designed for young children with a typical weight capacity of - lbs. Do you offer Safety Rails. All of our tall Loft and Bunk Beds have Safety Rails that go 5" above the top of the mattress and go the full length of the bed and we require that they be installed. Colleges typically work with just one company for rentals but any bed can be used as long as it meets their safety requirements. Should I have it delivered to my home or directly to my college or apartment? We recommend if possible having it shipped to your home early during the summer, and you take it to college with you. Move in day for most students is a stressful experience for both the student and family.
With the traffic jams, waiting for elevators, hundreds of students all moving in at the same time, getting everything organized, etc. It would be very helpful if you can get the loft partially assembled at home before you arrive on campus. Setting it up at home first will allow you to see how everything fits together and when you get to school setting it back up will be quick and easy. While its home you may want to paint or customize it to fit your personality.
We know this is not always possible, so if you want it delivered directly to your college, first check with your college's receiving department to verify whether they will accept packages for you before you arrive on campus.
